Here's a buck I shot in mid October back in 2006. I named him "Kylie's Buck", after my daughter. The reason for the name? My daughter was barely 1 yrs old when my wife and I took her for the 1st time for a drive, looking for deer. It was early Fall of 2005, when we seen this buck that evening, which I knew he was a good one, but probably needed another year. I found one of his sheds the next Spring, and had a lot of pics of him from late Summer into the Fall of 2006. He was my #1 hit list buck that year, and I shot him at 27 yards the first time I laid eyes on him out of the stand. He's not my biggest, but definitely one of my most memorable. Enjoy!
awesome buck Dean!! Having a history like that with a buck definitely makes it more memorable! Can't wait for next Thursday's installment!
Thanks guys! Wait until you see next Thursday's throw-back buck! I shot him out in Minnesota 10 days after this one. That's 2 P&Y's in 10 days! It was a crazy year, that's for sure. Stay tuned!
