Looks good. Interested in hearing how it works for you. Also I'd be interested to see if you can get a reading while in a ground blind. Some won't work thru the mesh. I made sure that my Nikon did before I bought it. Good Luck.
Honestly, did you even look at the product he is asking about? Obviously not. The DeadOn rangefinder is not a traditional laser rangefiner. No electronics. It is mounted to the inside of your sight housing and works on a series of referance points. To the OP, I have met and talked with the owner of the company a few times in the past. Looks like a good product for the right person. It's well made and very simple.
It gives a ballpark estimation of range using predetermined variables like body size and assuming the person installing or setting the pins is taking the time to actually verify the ranges that the pins are set at.
Here is the link for the Deadon. http://www.deadonrangefinder.com/ There is also the Tagged out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjTPXJrB9ec&feature=related and the Bullseye http://www.bullseyearcheryrangefinder.com/ I've never used one but I'm thinking about checking out the tagged out from bad rivers outdoors.
