I am using DDW this season for the 1st time and I love the results...

The one thing I have noticed is that the deer do "scent" me...Not to the
point of blowing and running away scared BUT they do blow, stomp their
feet but then just walk away knowing something isnt right...

On BHoD I have seen similar reactions...

    Has anyone else experienced this?

The one thing I have done to combat this and its gotten great results
is to use DDW as directed but then I over spray it with a competitors
EARTH SCENT...Since doing this I will have deer come right under my
    stand with ZERO detection...

DDW was recommended to me for my first season. I used the laundry detergent, bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste even mouth spray as well as the basic spray & wipes for my head & hands once I get settled. I suppose I'm type A, but I've heard so much depends on reducing the human scent. I'm trying to hunt the wind & keep up my regiment.

I have been using DDW for over 4 years now and it works really well. I have had deer scent me too, but like Adirondack Ed said, not to the point where they blow out of there.

I use DDW, Scent Crusher and Evercalm as a cover. Has worked really well this season. Had several deer and coyotes that never knew I was there.

Does ddw have a floral type smell to anyone else? Or is it just me. Not that is smells like a flower but it has a scent to it different than most scent eliminators.

I have been using DDW for four years with great results. Deer get much closer than with other scent elimination products. I use laundry soap, shower soap, dryer sheets, and spray. DDW uses vinegar as one of its ingredients whichay account for some of the smell.

Yes I smell something and thats what I was thinking was alerting the deer...I used to use PRIMOS and that one has a much stronger smell of some kind...DDW is my scent cover of choice...

I agree that the deer dont really blow out but they def know something is not right...Since adding the Earth Scent, I dont worry about the wind...Both products cover me to the point the deer dont even know Im there...
