Last season I switched from Scent Away to Tinks Vanish. I really like the Tinks. I know hunting the wind is the first priority of any hunter but, I still like to know I am using a quality spray also. I buy my sprays at Walmart. Yes I said it, Walmart. Its the only place without driving 40 miles to a D***'s or BPS. I noticed they have changed up some of the products this year such as the tree stands are now Ameristep and Gorilla and they have almost no Remington products for this year. They also have a full line of Mossy Oak now in clothing instead of the other no name brand stuff they had last seaon. Anyways, back to the point. They no longer carry Tinks Vanish but, now they carry Dead Down Wind. Have any of you had any experiences with this brand good or bad??

I know I'll get crucified for this but I use Dead Down Wind and have had great luck with it. I hunt the wind just like everyone else but I'm willing to spend $15-$20 bucks to maybe have a little extra insurance.

The only issue that I've had with DDW is you can't really keep it from year to year, I've had it go bad and smell nasty.

Do yourself a favor and stick with the Tink's Vanish. The technology they're using is proven to eliminate the bacteria that causes odor and prevent it from growing back.

I like the Primos Silver XP with the earth scent. Last year I combined this with "deer dander." I think the deer dander is the real deal

I really liked Tinks Vanish but, it is hard for me to get without ordering online or driving forever to get it. I may have to take a road trip and pick up my seasons supply of it.
