Out deer hunting last night and shot this mature female coyote. Even over 20 yards away she did not stand a chance. I can't say enough about the Bowtech Invasion. More proof why I believe its the greatest hunting bow ever made. Its so forgiving its unreal!

What do you do with a coyote if you don't take it to a taxidermist?

Thanks everyone for the comments! Its funny I shot a smaller coyote with my bow almost eight years ago from date I shot this coyote. Shows you how often bowhunters will even get an opportunity let alone knock one down. Any coyote I can get a shot at with my Invasion is in trouble.

Snap-on if the pelt is in good shape I do try to skin and flesh it out and tan the hides myself. If you know how to skin a coyote don't send it to a taxidermist cause it will cost you a ton of money. Once you flesh it out all you have to do is salt the hide down well and send it out to a tannery. Its usually only like $25 for a tanning fee.

Nice shot, yet to see a coyote I wouldn't shoot!

Drag them off to the side and leave 'em lay. If they run out of sight all the better. Or as others have said you could sell the coat. Main thing is to shoot them though, even if you have no intent to do anything with it. They compost well
