    Just out scouting in general and looking for sheds ,mushroom found a young buck I would guess drop dead sometime in the afternoon as it was not swelled up and it was 90+ here today I would guess a year old had velvet stubs just past the hair spike size in diameter I didn't see anything wrong legs looked good no missing hair patches did have some blood coming out of its mouth if not hit by a car I would think poisoned (natural or man )unless poached with a small cal. :(

    If you're really curious, skin it...possible small cal kill.

    I considered that found him at sunset and have work in the am the buzzards will have him picked clean by the time I get home Friday

    dont sweat it kirk. I found about 100 dead deer every spring. Winters are tough on them little ones
