I go in just looking around at the after xmas stuff.....They are almost out of bows, but I spy a Diamond Iceman...so I ask the guy to let me look at it....(I want one bad)...so I'm looking at it and I notice there is no price on it...so I ask...the guy says I don't know and goes back to ask the manager....he comes back and says 535 and it's yours....I try to come up with a reason not to be able to buy it..so I look at the settings...60lbs 29 inches....(exactly what I want)....I hand it back to him and say I'll be right back..... I go get in my car and leave.....

Hopefully one of you guys will tell me how lucky I am that I didn't buy it, cause it's such a ****ty bow....

I'm going to have to recover from xmas for a few months..(I have 5 kids).....

I feel your pain but my story has the opposite ending. I walked into the local Pro Shop just to "look around". I spotted the new Z7 and asked to shoot it. To make a long story short.....i know own it. The wife was pretty pissed and it was 3 weeks before Christmas. So needless to say that Santa didn't leave me anything under the tree. LOL...

It's good to see I'm not the only one...just picked up a PSE Bow Madness XS and I already have a decent bow.
I just had to have it.
The wife was very annoyed but I explained that it's a backup since Archery and Hunting is my primary outlet outside of work and family.
That and a gift card to Macy's helped.
