Well the question that I have may be a simple one. I am looking to take a few days off work for the rut. The problem is that I am looking to make sure that I get time off DURING the rut. I live in west central WI and hunt a new piece of land and not sure what day I should be taking off. Any help would be great!

    Thanks,
    Ty

I've been kicking this around trying to figure out when to take my usual 4 days off. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick November 5, 8, 9, and 10th. I've usually went by the moon phase, but since it is so late this year, I will be switching it up.

I've always liked the stretch from the 5th through the 10th. These three days crunched in the middle would be my pick too. From what I hear a late rut this year though. Who knows, but I wouldn't trade the first week and a half of November for anything.

The last week of Oct through the first week of Nov is when I see the most activity here in SE Pa.
