Thanks he actually was 2 before we started shed hunting and it went pretty easy. My daughter has a little ankle biter that I thought would be funny to train to find sheds.

Today's, 3-19-14, walk was a very interesting walk let alone I guess there is a person who does not like that I shed hunt a property that he is not allowed on. I ended up finding three fresh sheds and one that was old and all chewed up. I also found my first ever Owl pellet and a fish that was at least 100 yards from the river and must of got trapped when it flooded. Here are the pictures from today:

Now for the bad part! I can not prove this but it has all the leads that he would do this to me. I found 95 nails where my truck parks in some grass by a gate where I walk into the property. I can see finding a couple nails but 95 all in the same spot when I have been parking there all year with no issues until now. He has called the cops on me twice saying I am trespassing and filed complaints with DNR on me. I have been found clean of all complaints by him and not sure why he will just leave it be! It seems like he is out to get me and why I have no clue. Here are the nails:

Its to bad when a good time gets wrecked by pointless acts! We have a place here in wi where everyone can do their thing horseback riding hiking camping etc. Hunting is allowed they just ask that you stay back from walking trails not that big of a deal.year after year when the season opens guys get the nail treatment. I have heard stories of guys coming out from hunting to find 4 slashed tires! The end came for me one day driving by and saw 3 trucks parked (assuming they were hunting) all had their windows smashed out!! Open to public use is the purpose and how long do you think hunting would continue if hunters harassed hikers or horseback riders that way. Thats where I stand sorry that guy is such a pain!! Fish was cool cant believe a raccoon or a weasel didnt get it

This shed I found on 3-26-14 and just now got a computer up and running. It is a new one with more storage so I guess I need to find more sheds to fill it up with!

Went for a long walk today and found another dead buck. Just a little spike so not sure what the cause of death was since he has been laying for a couple years. All that was in that spot was the skull and it was all broke up. I found another balloon and a ball.

Well I am down to a few walks left since I have to have a surgery done on April 17th. I will be down for at least 4 weeks so by that time the sheds will either be covered up in grass or ate by squirrels.

Great to see you've been able to get out after them some this year yet!! Hopefully you get a full and fast recovery!! Sure hate to hear about the nails. I'd make sure the landowner knows about it and with all the false calls this guy has made too bad the DNR doesn't threaten the tool with making a false report or something.

That is great! A lot of public land gets pounded by a lot of shed hunters.

This is kind of a honey hole almost impossible to get at unless you can cross some private land. The land owner said it was ok but not to ever bring up doing it for hunting season.

Well, my season is now OVER! I will be going in for surgery on Thursday and will be busy until I head in! It was not that great of a year for totals but I did find my best ever shed so that made the year for me. Thanks to all of you and glad I can be part of your team.
