Todays walk was a good one! I found the match to my 4 point shed the other day and then found a second one on top of it. The sad part of the day I found a 12 point buck dead. On another good note my heard is getting bigger and the bucks are starting to show themselves so I can see what is out there. There are a lot still packing full racks. Here are todays pictures:

There has been some EHD but not much! A lot of wounded deer I have heard lost too. This property is a non hunting spot that they run too so it is normal to find a couple on it. I jumped about 6 bucks still with full racks too. It is just starting and ready for more. I am in Central Illinois.

Well, my walk on 2-13-14 turned out to be one of the best EVER even with the foot of snow! Here is what I found and boy was I shocked when I pulled it out of the snow. I could not believe my eyes. Mouth hit the ground and my eyes were big as the moon!

None what so ever Chuck! Rumor has it there was a deer that got out of a pen around the area and I have never found a shed or seen a deer like this. My guess is that this shed might be from that buck but not sure if it is or not. I dont even know who had the deer. It has a yellow tag in its ear and was a nice buck that escaped from its pen. I have been looking for him in the area since they said he was that way. I have not seen him. Now I need the other side.

Well, I just got done scoring the shed and if I did it right I got 85 1/8". I would say I should be close but was unsure on where to do my circumferences. I am going to have to get this shed officially scored.
