On my second walk of the year I hit pay dirt! I found a nice 9 point dead buck, a buck with his head cut off, and my first shed from a very familiar buck! Here they are: I just happened to look up to find this very old tree stand that is getting swallowed from the tree growth! Bucks still packing! A squirrel that ran from me decided to get back in his hole and peak out at me. The buck with his head cut off! Trespassers that would be called since it was at the back of the property. Now todays finds with the picture of the buck that owns the antlers. I do have a match set from him in 2011. I did not find his 2012 sheds.
Looking forward to another great thread this year buddy. That treestand pic is awesome, got a few good ol' boy stands like that around here as well. History, but sketchy. How wide is that monster in the pic? Sucks to find that poached buck and the dead head. Were still hunting here in ohio... Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
I'm still getting pictures of bucks with the head gear on. I did came across on a dead deer First I thought it was a doe. after checking it out it was a buck someone shot him and only cut the antlers, This is the 3rd one I came across on the property and only took the antlers.
Found this dead head yesterday. Not much left of it so it was sitting for a couple years I am guessing.
Here is some pictures from yesterday too. Now for the guy who trespass's on the property wants to watch us or time us on when we out there. Top camera is facing where we park then where we walk down to woods then another on a creek crossing. There are two cameras in that first picture doing that. Same guy who tried to get us on to his property too.
I might have to meet up with you some time thats about an hour and a half away from me. Great pictures as well. Ill be following along as well. Good luck
Those cams are on his property so they will be left alone and I have put up mine! That way I can see what is still carrying its head gear and what is not.
