I am for sure trying this sometime this week. THANKS! I tried something similar not long ago but I just used Italian dressing. Your recipe sounds much better.
For the ones that have not tried it you better print it off because it will be a fixture in your recipe book from here on out. I have yet to have someone say they dont like it. Let me know what you all think of it.
dawg, does the mix get better after multiple uses? think im gonna try this on: venison, goose, chicken and pheasant..... think it'll work? reason being most of my cookouts not everyone eats venison
Dawg, I have to say they are the best venison snacks I have ever eaten I plan on shooting a doe just to make Dawg Bites next season lol
The flavor would be......... ......and it would be the roasts or loins cut up into cubes. It all tastes the same and the taste you will never forget!
I am sure it does. I have tried it on only deer and will be doing the same as soon as my brother in law brings me some birds. Also just for your info, I posted this recipe on realtree.com two years ago and I have had over 4,000 people look at the recipe with 400+ comments on it. One guy even got an ANTI-HUNTER to eat it and like it. So that should tell you something. They should at least try it. I have yet to have someone say they dont like it.
I didnt like em.........................................................................fingers crossed
Just remember you said that big fella! We eating large next year! Oh by the way....those sausages can not cross because they way to fat!
yeeeeeep i did! ended up taking them off the foil and cooking on the grill indirectly. only thing i woulda done different was get some low sodium soy sauce and cutting back on the salt added. they were a little salty for my likes but damn good!
