Was wondering if anyone played darts. I'm just getting started, learned how to play baseball (with the normal board not like the back of the European boards). They told me its the easiest to learn. I'm loving it so far. i suck at it, but lovin it. So what kinda darts do you throw? Any tips for a new guy?
we just used to get a few beers and throw 301 401 or cricket nothing serious ive got a first place trophy that i dont even remeber winning!!!! my partner had to have carried me the whole match!
I suck but think it is a LOT of fun. I have an electronic board in the game room that has a lot of programmable games. I had no idea how many different types of dart games there were. Beer definitley makes everyone a little better.
Haha yeah I have a lot to learn when it comes to the games. I'll keep it simple for now. Its fun forsure. Need to try it with a few beers. I could use a boost lol.
Good old aiming fluid! I've played darts now for 17 years In a few different leagues. I qualified for Vegas (nationals) In a 2 person league but had to back out because of my job being I couldn't get off of work. Many times we've finished In the top of 5 In the state In 4 man and 2 man teams In the class B bracket which Is one under Masters. These were 501 and Cricket games. I've done a few 501 and Cricket single state tournements too and my best finsh was 2nd twice In my class. I haven't shot In a sanctioned league now for 6 years. Just too busy with work and such but I would love to get back Into a sanctioned league again. Now I just throw In a bar league once a week In the winter months. My 501 average was usually around 29 per dart. My cricket average was usually about 2.5 per dart.
