I was out running some bear baits and always drive right by this camera.....its set up on a natural mineral lick next to the main road down from camp. Got a few pictures of some new bucks and possibly another one or two of the one posted last time.....a little too far to tell exactly. I should be checking a camera that's been out for almost 4 weeks here in the next couple days, on of my really good spots. (I probably just jinxed it!)

    Anyways, enjoy these....

I would have thought this guy would have a little more tine length by now....

A nice 8 with some potential....

    A couple smaller bucks....

The next two I can't tell if its the same buck or if its the same as the one from last time.....

Here's a few pics I've gotten here this year. Hasn't been a real good year for big boys, but then again, I've only checked one of my good spots so far.

No fences or ag fields up here.

Kinda fuzzy, but its a wolf.

    Fox.

Not too often do geese walk by a trailcam.

This is the best buck I've gotten so far.

I should have some good ones on one of my cams thats been out for 3 weeks. I'll check it next week. I still have 1 more cam to put out, but its going 13 miles from here by quad and I just haven't had the time to ride down there and walk the 1 mile in to set it up. Hopefully I'll get that done next week.

How can you not love trail cameras. Sometimes I think they are more fun than hunting. NOT!

Thanks guys. Hopefully I can get some more big boys to show their face.

Dan, I like how you spell yours better. This spring was crappy and cold. The snow stayed too long. I had 5 days planned to shed hunt with my brother and our friends up here this spring, then it snowed 16" the day he got here. After that, I had too much work to get done before we opened camp for fishing season. But, I did make it out 2 full days and found 32 on those good walks. The first day 19 and the second 13. Not much for fresh ones though, most were from the last year or 2. My Canaidan total is only 39, with the 7 other accidental finds.

We shouldn't be building another cabin next spring so, weather cooperating, we should have some good pickin.

That last buck is a real good one. The wolf pic is pretty cool too. I like the geese. You're right, it isn't often that they are caught on a trail cam.

Looks like the first one is going to be short on tine length, maybe next year for him. Great pictures.

It looks like you have a few prospects for your hit list this fall Dan. Some good looking bucks roaming the woods around there.

That first one is nice and wide, but it doesn't look like he'll get real tall. The last one in the latest pics does look like he could be the same buck as from the other pics. He looks like he'll be a good one.
