I got Kent to make a Burnie Special kids bow for my nephew Jackson.

The bow turned up this morning and I was pissed to say the least when I noticed the box crushed at one end and absolutely livid when I took the bow from the box to find one of the tips busted.:mad1:

I just finished grinding both the tips down and installing antler overlays, it is in the heat box curing as I type.

    Ok end of rant.

Thanks so much for doing this for me Kent, I know Jackson is gonna love the bow, I will be heading out there Sunday with it so I will get some pics of him shooting it.

Easy there Russ...Let's not go postal! It does suck though, no respect! Your a good uncle and I'm sure Jackson will love you for your effort.

Go shoot a few arrows and imagine the target as the guy squashing Jackson's bow...

Thats a drag. I got a bow here recently in the mail and the tube beat up. The ends were smashed, I thought for sure the tips was busted by the way the tube was looking. Luckily the was just a minor scratch on it.

Glad you got your problem sorted out Russ! I hope he enjoys his Bow!

I hate the mail...they bring bills, take my money when sending payment for bills, then go and break things they handle!:bash: It is great that you have the knowledge to make a repair to the bow for presentation!:hail:

Well I just finished sanding and shaping the antler tip overlays.

I will be giving it to him on Sunday so I will post up some pics of him shooting it.
