damn thiefs

    Got one of my cams stolen the other day, In a private woods that i never expected it to get touched so there was no lock on it or anything. I have absoultly no clue who would have known it was out there. Guess some random just decided to go for a late night trespasser stroll.... getting stuff stolen just pisses me off, i hate dishonest people. Just a mid-grade stealth cam so nothing to special but still... Sorry just venting :mad:

    Yea, it's a real let down when you discover something's been stolen, like a trail cam or a stand. I had a LW sit and climb stolen years back that was on private property and was cable locked! Last place I was worried about, I just went the extra mile with the lock and got it stolen anyway! I haven't had a cam stolen yet.:nana:

    Real sorry to hear that man. I don't care what the cost of the item was, it's just such a violation to the person being stolen from and a complete lack of respect on the part of the thief.

    Sorry to hear that...when I had a camera that was using film, the film was ripped out of it, but never have had one stolen, just broken. I'm a cop so I get the dishonest people feelings, I feel that way all the time

    This may sound funny but twice now i thought my cam was stolen only to find it a few feet from the tree i thought i put it in. So far so good the smaller the cam i buy the harder they are to find.

    haha, i double then tripled checked!, and my buddy who was with me when i hung it was with me to. Definitely gone

    that sucks someone deleted all my pictures on my card last week when i went to check guess they realized it was locked and didnt want me to see there picture i was pissed

    haha, actually pretty smart thinking on their part but at least u still have your camera... I lost my 4gb card that i just bought for that cam too!

    Locks keep the honest people honest. I am gonna go check my camera tomorrow. The thing that would prevent or at least help you recover stolen camera's. Spend the few hundread bucks on the ones that email the pictures to you right after they are taken.

    maybe you guys should rig up a fake cam that has a can of mace inside that activates when you open the lid :busted:

    ive been saying that for awhile haha exactly what i thought when i realized mine was gone... id love to knock on the guys door with a picture of him stealing my cam! haha
