Well? Luke Bryan, countries biggest current star and i believe one of the Buck Commanders. Talking about driving around, drinking, and shooting deer. Harmless entertainment?
I'd say hamrless entertainment. I'd also say there is a segment of hunters that would call that a normal day in the field.
doesn't put a good taste in my mouth but it was hopefully for sheer entertainment. Something I wouldn't have done but to each their own.
First time I've ever heard it, I'll vote for dumb. I will also add 100 grain 30-06 bullets?! So sticking with.....dumb.
My thoughts are these: 1. Yes, I suppose it's entertainment if you stretch the definition a bit. 2. I like country music. 3. I have no idea who Luke Bryan is. 4. I don't like the sound of the song. He sounds like any one of a few dozen "cookie cutter" country singers who try to over-emphasize their dramatic southern drawl in an attempt to sound authentic, but to anyone who grew up in the south they just sound artificial. 5. I absolutely hate the lyrics. They seem to glorify totally irresponsible behavior. 6. I wish you hadn't posted this on here. They say ignorance is bliss, and I was happier before I heard this song.
Hes the entertainer of the year. The Academy says hes the best of the best. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s4
Does this make him a sellout? Obviously any responsible hunter would never stand for such behavior. Is it "okay" since hes Luke Bryan? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s4
You must not listen to much mainstream country music. I'm not a Luke Bryan fan, but he's everywhere right now.
Really? Well, I did say that I like country music, not that I was current. I guess it's a good thing I have my music collection. If this is the best today's country music has to offer it might be time to look into a different genre.
You're right. I stopped listening to "mainstream" country music a long time ago - about the time it stopped being country and became something else. I'm not sure what, but something else. I do still pick and choose an occasional artist to listen to that I think is really good.
What if they are the majority? What if they are good hardworking taxpaying Americans like you or I? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s4
I am completely offended. Haha. It's entertainment, just words. That's the great thing about this nation, say or do what you want or change your mind and do the opposite, who cares? If it is legal, why care? Remember it works both ways, I see some that whine about song lyrics and cry the ten commandments are gone.
the song is just entertainment. i like luke bryan and some other mainstream country. but hate jason aldean after his song "1994" but anyway luke aint dumb he relizes he made some cash off this song, as for him as a ethical hunter i dont know, if i ever get a chance to set around and tell hunting storries with him ill let ya know haha
Beer and bullets? Now that's the image the majority of the voting public needs to reinforce an anti vote for gun control and hunting. This guy is a complete A$#clown for writing this. How many hunters drink beer while deer hunting? Gun and hunting rights are determined with votes and public opinion. I'll stick with Alan Jackson. The tv hunting rock stars have really gotten old. Ted, the high fence convicted poacher? Spooge Spawn? Enough already.
Not at all...and honestly now that I've listened to it a couple of times I'm 100% against it. I feel the same as some others have said it does ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD to the whole idea of responsible gun owners and hunters in general. Worthless if you ask me and that's said because I somewhat liked some of his stuff...
Not quite sure what you meant with this? Elaboration please? I'll be one who states for sure that if you claim to be a Christian your music should reflect that. Not saying it should say Jesus every single line but a true reflection of who you are should come through...if it doesn't perhaps reflection and more thought needs done before you sell your product despite it's disagreement with yourself.
I'm offended by bad music, so yes. The lyrics are terrible, and not even because they are about a slob hunter.
