    Dad decided to upgrade his mower. Had a 5' Brush Hog, and went with a 7' Land Pride RCD1184 offset. We do a LOT of mowing so this should cut down on the time significantly.

    Thanks everyone. It's the best kind of toy. I get to play with it, but didn't have to drop the $$ :D

    Dan, his tractor is 40HP/35HP PTO. The mower is rated from 35-60HP so he's on the low end. The 3 point handles it well and since it's a shallow deck, it doesn't pull up the front (we do have weights up front when mowing). He's mowing today so we'll know how it does in practice.

    Nice. I have and 83hp with a 65hp PTO. I'll be looking for something to mainly cut sweet corn and corn stubble with, maybe some grass, but not a lot.

    I have a Murray 24incher....it's pretty sweet! I can get through my entire yard in about 2 hours....it's cherry red!


    But seriously that an awesome piece of American machinery....have fun with it.....FOOD PLOTS!!

    If that is a 990 deere, that is in damn good shape for its year, think they were around 40 hp, very popular tractor. Looks great
