D55ir range issue

    Just got a moultrie d55ir and CAN'T get range to work past around 6 feet. Manufacturer claims 35. Anyone else have the same issue? The motion range is really important. Cleaned the lens. No change.

    one of my favs

    I have one that I got last year and it has worked wonderful. Only issue I seem to have with was when the temperatures got below about 25 degrees it did not take as many pics as it did in warmer temps.

    I was warned that this model has a high return rate so i went with a different manufacture all together , I would return it and do the same.
