I am just wondering what kind of D-Loop everyone is using and what you are happy with?

I bought some BCY #24 Loop Material awhile back. I have put it on a few bows and i am certain I am tying it in and tightening it just fine but it seems it still wants to turn on me? I love how it is thinner then most material and it burns down nicely but it is a pain trying to keep tightened up enough not to twist?

I ask this because I tied in a loop for a buddy a couple weeks ago, and he had a different thicker material. I tied it in no different then any other I have ever tied and his seems to cinch up much tighter? He says after a couple weeks shooting it has not turned on him once? I tied a new one on mine a couple weeks ago and WOW it is frustrating me!!!

I had the same problem with my old bow, but after plenty of shooting and fiddling with it I finally got it secured permanentally!

    Any Suggestions??

I have used both BCY and Paradox material. They both work well, and the BCY is a bit thinner. I bought a bulk pack of the Paradox that can be seen on the following link, I really liked the dispenser it came in and the material and price were really good:

With that said, if you are having problems with your loop seating while using BCY, I'd question how tight your serving is. Is it seperating under the loop? Are you seating the loop tight enough using a pair of needle nose pliers?

I will have to inspect the serving material a bit further in a little bit. i wouldnt imagine it is seperating as it looks fine and it is a fairly new string/serving? I do have nocksets tied in so it will be easy to check!

As far as tightening the loop I use needle nose pliers with plenty of pressure against it? It tightens up good for maybe 50 shots or so then it slowly starts turning left? I did crank it down again a couple days ago, and so far so good hopefully I got it good this time? Only time will tell??

I will check out the Paradox. Thanks!!
