    Thank you for remembering. Hubby asks me " Do you know what today is?, on every historical WWll milestone. He then calls or e-mails our son a reminder....today I beat him to it. 43 yrs some of it sunk in..lol

    My buddy served in both the 101st and the 82nd Airborne Divisions (and is still active in the National Guard. )

    Every year, without fail (except when he's been Active Duty in-theater) at midnight on D-Day he cracks open a bottle of Jim Beam, pushes 'play' on Band of Brothers and doesn't stop until he watches the entire mini series. 10 hours straight.

    I completely spaced it out till I saw this thread. Guess I’m not much different than Biden. Seems he spaced it all out too.
