This is just another day in America. 10 people shot, 4 dead. It just happens to be at a Naval yard or something. I see it as no different than 1-2 people being murdered per day in some big cities.
I'd day this is a little different than a robbery gone bad or gang violence, there lies the possibility of ulterior motive given the intended targets.
If we are talking "terrorism", we terrorize each other 1,000x more than any terrorist organization. We don't need them to kill each other.
True, I guess I'm just a little more concerned since my younger brother goes to college about a mile from where the shooting took place.
The third world country to the north of me a little is called Chicago. There have been 1,400 shootings there in 2013 already.
I don't get it. What in the hell is wrong with people? It's not a case of people having easier access to guns, because it's harder now than it ever has been. Aside from that, CNN was saying earlier that there were 3 round bursts being fired, which means this was either NOT a civilian AR 15, or CNN is retarded. Either is a likely possibility. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to possess an assault rifle in DC isn't it? So this surely couldn't happen there!!!!! On a more serious note, this kind of crap is getting old. We have one of two problems here, and more and more I'm beginning to believe it's the latter. Either we just really have a lot of crazy desperate people that want to go out in a blaze of glory, or there's a deep darker problem. One where these are well thought out and well planned attacks at certain times. Times that seem to distract people from some of the issues we are having as a country. What better way to get peoples minds off of our failed power play in Syria, then to have a mass shooting and get people back on more important issues like gun control. I'm sure plenty of you will play that thought off as crazy talk and maybe it is. I just can't say 100 percent without equivocation that it's not.
I kind of personally think its a bunch of bull it's just another attempt for the government to have a reason to try to ban guns again... I saw a picture today of two people bent over someone and like 5 guys standing around casually talking... just my opinnion
Here comes the gun battle again....I feel bad for the people that lost there life but we have look at the bigger picture. There are more nut jobs out there then there was 15 years ago. I think it has a lot to do with all these DR.'s putting these kids on anti-depressants and other mood altering drugs for years. Then they cut them them loose on society after and they have to deal with reality and they don't know how.
I agree with this, you cant keep pushing all these medications on people and expecting that to solve the problems. For some it may be enough but how many don't get the help they actually need.
