you're beginning to toe the line of belligerent. you can let your "wall" do your talking all you want. the laws of physics will remain the laws of physics.

when an archer wants to get the most out of their equipment, it doesn't always equal to the lightest arrow possible. energy transfer to the arrow means that the arrow receiving the energy must have greater, not lesser mass.

anyhow, unless you've seen the rest of our "trophy walls," i suggest you not continually bring it up.

It's called off to a good start or building up to the candles and campfires.

I can give you directions on how to build a campfire. Do they allow fires in NY? Ya, my first bull was a little rag horn. My Montana bull was better but still didn't make 370" like my buddies. What did your squirrel score?

Bow Efficiency and Why You Should Care

"As can be seen, as the weight of the arrow increases, the efficiency of the bow goes up! The heavier the arrow, the more potential energy is converted to kinetic energy that is useful in propelling the arrow. When an arrow is actually shot, there are similar losses to what was seen above when letting the bow down, but energy is also converted into sound and vibration. This can be readily observed by archers when shooting a light arrow, then an heavier arrow and noticing that the heavier arrow results in less noise and less vibration at the shot."

Dude, I don't know about all of these mathematical equations nor did I ever Chrono my arrow speed, but while I was shooting the CX Whitetail it was awesome. I was shooting a 389gr arrow and made a pass through on a doe and an elk, all with a 57lbs draw. The arrow was a straight shooter and did a great job. I only changed over to a GT XT Hunter to test them out.

I don't doubt your results at all. I shoot a lighter arrow because I have a short draw length and want to keep my fps and my kinetic energy where it is. I have found a good combination that works for me. There is plenty of ignorant posts on here that somehow believe that I said lighter was better... There is a balance of weight, speed and energy. Mine happens to be lighter arrow with plenty of kinetic energy. One ignorant posted that my setup wouldnt kill N. Americas biggest game~ squirrel hunter I'm guessing. I had so much fun with him... He found the need to google me? wow I hope they can kill better than they can read~ Best of skill and luck to your hunting next season!
