    Real nice Bob , you had the polished blade , where as i went for the Scandanavian look and like Joe said ... that armguard is Fantastic .

    Thanks Bails, That's edge grain osage orange and the blade is from an old band saw blade...

    Lots of beautiful knives out there for sure.
    I never picked one up, not sure why.
    I have seriously thought about taking a lot of my small racks and sheds and making small antler handled knives from them.(as if I don't already tinker around with enough DIY junk)

    Them bandsaw blades are ideal , really strong and keep a god edge . A guy i know makes his own Broadheads from bandsaw blades to good effect .

    This is my neck knife. My ex-father in-law got it for my son when he was just a small boy. It's some sort of Nordic piece with cursive writing on it.

    This is the Ichiro Hattori knife my wife bought for me. don't look at it too long it's so sharp it might cut your vision

    WOW Joe , that Knife is Awesome .How the heck do they do that marking on the blade , beautiful handle too .

    Thanks brother. Its a Damascus blade, 2 layers of steel thats twisted etc... which gives it the layers.

    Thanks guys, I would like to have more time to work on some knives. I have had blade made and heat treated for over a year and have not had time to finish it (I forge the blades and heat treat myself).

    This thing called work is getting in the way of hobbies.

    I have just been informed my Necker is finished! Oh Boy!!!!!!! Skullworks says the finished knife, honestly, is a beauty and way better than the pic he sent me that I posted! He's oiling the sheath going to take some pics in a few and send her to me.... CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!

    Now all I need is my new bow..... CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!
