Any of you fellas into custom knives?? I just put an order in for a custom necker thats going to have the scales match the woods on my Mohawk. The guy says he has some really nice Bacote thats going to look great with the Cocobolo. The sheath is going to be the same as the one in the picture, handle down but accented with Turkey tracks, a bit less busy! Should be here in just over 2 weeks, I can't wait!

"This one is a twist damascus spear point blade with snakewood handles and mosaic pins. It is 5-3/4" OAL with a blade that is apprx 3-1/2". It has a handle down carry neck sheath with an over the handle strap."

Nothing fancy on this one because it gets used and abused:deer:

But Bob does some great work on his knives.

I've got a knife Dingus made too. The blade looks like your's Russ but the handle is Corian. i don't have pics. I know he used to have a website but I can't for the life of me remember how to find it.
    Pics shall be forthcoming tomorrow.

I like it Russ! I don't like em' to busy either, I want to be able to use it for its intended purpose! I'll get a drop point before the season to do my dirty work and give the old Buck 110 to the boy! He loves that knife, well until he sees the new one!

You guys have me wanting a custom knife now. Dave, I like your huntsman. I even went and checked out his site. It appears he does good work.

Jeff, I know you've probably said it before but who made your knife? Website?

Don't take this the wrong way but what makes these knives worth the coin? I've researched a bit and seen some from around $100 to $1000. I'm interested.

Finch , your right he does do good work  .

I think what you are paying for is the quality of steel and leather , the finish , the time and the craftsmanship . Go see Rob and tell him Bails from the BBA sent ya :d .

    Jeff

Thats a great looking knife mate .

I became weary of spending lots of money for less than adequate tools.. Starting making my own. This is a picture of a neck knife I made...
