I've always used Prostrings for years, but it appears as though he's out of business. Phone line and website's down. It's a shame, I've had great luck with the many sets that he's built for me through the years. To be honest, the Contra-band strings from Bear have been quite good. I had a minor bit of serving separation on one spot on the Empire, and though Bear sent me a new set, I left the originals on, as the separation stopped, and I've had no change in cam position, bow specs, or peep rotation, and I'll be going on two years now with this set. I had just replaced the set on the Anarchy with Prostrings this past summer, and the original set was still looking and holding good with two years + on it. I like the way that the serving is clear, so the string colors show through all the way around. I may just put on the spare that they sent me for the Empire, but otherwise, I may give Hutch a call this spring and try out his stuff, sounds like he's highly recommended.
