I shoot a 2006 Bowtech Tomkat and I was wondering if anybody knew of a good custom grip maker that would make a grip for this bow? I have tried finding places but nobody makes a custom grip for it because it is too old or just not popular enough..thanks alot!

Check out Loesch grips, I had their sideplates on my 06 BowTech Old Glory and had a full grip on my BowTech 82nd Airborne. They make a few different model with different wrist heights along with a variety of colors.

I'd look at Torqueless grips or Bob Lambeth's Custom Grips.

A quick Google search will turn up both.

I 2nd the recommendation of Loesch grips. I had one on my 05 Allegiance and I loved it. Very high quality grip that looked great.

These sideplates fit all Bowtech 2004-2006 models so they should work on your bow.

The Torqueless grip was less expensive than the Loesch and I thought the one I had on my Old Glory was excellent.

I looked at these and the looked like they would be uncomfortable in the palm between the index finger and the thumb. It looks like they come to a shamp point with the riser. Is this the case?

I actually found them to be VERY comfortable between the index and the thumb. The picture exagerates the line, it is a good bit smoother and isn't raised up much at all. I had the blue/walnut sideplates on my 06 Old Glory and they looked really good and felt even better. I found that I had a much more consistant grip with the sideplates on as well.

You can see them on my bow here...

nice..sounds good. I might have to invest in a new grip. I absolutley hate the big black bulky grip that came stock..

I took the custom grip off my PSE Triton due to over torqueing while shooting. i just shoot with the plain riser. i have developed a calus on top of my thumb joint from it. I couldn't find any grips that worked, so i decided to go without & i shoot great. Different strokes different folks!!
