Yeah that's actually how I got ahold of American Gun. American Sniper is probably the best book I have ever read. It really gives you a greater level of respect for our warriors overseas.
Sniper's Honor by Stephen Hunter. I'm waiting on the next book by John Sanford. Either a Lucas Davenport or Virgil Flowers. I can't remember which one will come out next.
For those of you who enjoy true military books I recommend 'Five Years to Freedom' by Nick Rowe. It's a biography of his time as a prisoner in Vietnam, a really good book.
Been re-reading Generation Kill by Even Wright. I've read it probably a hand full of times but it's pretty good. Written by a Rolling Stones writer that was embedded with a Marine recon unit during the initial push through Iraq. There was also a HBO series. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Just finished Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose, about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Pretty good read. Think I will start American Gun by the late Chris Kyle next.
Just finished The River of Doubt on vacation last week. Very good book. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
