Cuddeeback question

    Let me start by saying I have loved all 3 of the captures I have had. But today I checked cams, and when I checked the capture, it said that I had 99 pics oon it. But when I put the SD card in the computer, it only said 14 pics on the card. Whats up with that?

    Let me start by saying they are crap.
    A friend of miner just sent me 2 of then because he is sick of them not working right. I needed a couple more trail cams so he gave me those. I called cuddeback. They will replace them with the ambush for $100 + shipping each.
    But if you do it online you'll get free mounting hardware with the order.
    I'll be sending one in to try them.
    If i could afford it right now i would by the coverts.

    Those "other" pics could be on your next card. Cudde are only capable of running 2 GB or less in the Captures if I remember correctly.

    The update says you can use up to a 16gb but i don't think it'll help from everything i have read about these.
    By the way if you have questions about the cover trail cams ask this guy ^^^^^^^^^ gut

    Thanks for your opinion! I have had 3 different captures in the past 4 years or more, and this is the first problem, (If you can even call it a problem) I have ever had with them. The only reason I got rid of the other 2 captures I had, was so I could build some Homebrews. I was hoping that this wouldnt turn into bash the cuddeeback thread.

    I'm not bashing them at all.
    I have never used them.
    I'm going to give the ambush a shot and see how it is.
    I can only tell you what i know first hand and what i have read myself on the reviews

    Ive had the capture 2 yrs now and my only complaint is a half grey pic every once in a while.

    This is just a guess but it may be the card. Try a different card and test it out in your yard and see what happens.

    I have 2 Cuddeback attacks and IMO they are not worth the money. They take great pics and have good trigger speeds, but sometimes when I go to check them they don't take a pic of me even when I walk infront of them a few times. Makes me wonder what else they have missed :eek:
