They can go **** themselves!!! I've bought 4 of their No Flash Cudde's over the years. 2 of these No Flashes were reconditioned ones being the previous two I had went to heck so I sent them my old one and In return I paid $150.00 for a reconditioned camera. So far one of the 2 reconditioned ones hasn't even went a year and It's already giving me trouble shutting off on It's own. I just called Cuddeback and they tell me the 6 month warranty on the reconditioned one Is up and I say yes It Is but with all the business I've gave them over the years they should make It right and send me another reconditioned one free of charge. The lady says nope can't do that but we'll send you another reconditioned one for $150.00 when we receive the one that Isn't working. I then tell her you'll never see me buy another product of there's again and hung up. Bastards!!!
Sorry to hear that Schultzy. I've had a few Capture issues over the years and they've made good on them rather quickly. That's the pain when it comes to reconditioned units, you never really know what you're going to get. If you're in the market for another IR cam try the Bushnell Trophy Cams. They've been working great for us, and the battery life is ridiculous.
yea they are working amazing for me this year i got two and good quality photos and the battery life is really good
I had the same thing with me except it was a capture that I bought from gander mountain and after they sent me the 3rd replacement camera that didn't work they told me my warranty was up and I would have to pay them to fix my camera. I told them I was supporting a in state company since I'm from Wisconsin and that if I was Lee or Tiffany Lakosky they would replace it with a new one for free and she said I can't do anymore. I told her I was using there camera to sight my gun in this fall and hung up.
I might have to look Into these Bushnell's Justin. I've heard good things from others as well on these Trophy Cams. Thanks!!
Do it Schultzy, I've been very happy with mine. My dad has had trouble with his Cuddy too. I keep telling him to switch, but he's stubborn as could be... that's where I get it. :D
REconyx Schultzy, Buy a Reconyx.....you get what you pay for. Anything you buy these days needs to come with great customer service. I had the same experience with Cuddeback. Since changing to Reconyx cameras I have not had any issues. The biggest change for me is receiving 14000 pictures on a set of batteries witht he Reconyx instead of 1500 with the Cuddeback. I also have a 4 year old Moultie I-40 which for the first time is giving me an issue with the digital screen not working but the camera still takes great pictures. The Bushnell cameras come with great reviews so that would be my choice if the wallet was too thin.

My wife bought me a Capture at Christmas time. I just sold it last week on AT..... 'nuf said! I know you have at least a couple of Reconyx. If you can afford it, I'd buy more. Blessings.....Pastorjim
dbl, I already have 2 Reconyx's like Jim said. Both are RC60's with one being a HO. I love the Reconyx's but damn their expensive.
You could buy a brand new unit from a different company for that price that surpasses the cuddebacks in literally all aspects of a trail cam. Many awesome cams, just be sure to pick a company with good customer service. I hate the huge companies that are impossible to deal with when it comes to optics, trail cams, heck nearly any product i can help from it...as long as I don't have to give up quality to avoid them, it's a no brainer.
Schultzy, True Reconyx cameras are expensive but so are batteries, shipping, and $150 for something that does not last a year is even more expensive when you put it all together. I bought a new Reconyx RM 45 last year and just purchased a new HC500 semi covert Reconyx. I paid $400 with tax for each one. So I think the price has actually dropped from what they were. A(LaCrosse, WI) gun shop sells them regularly for less then MSRP.
Steve, sorry about your bad experience with Cudde. I think the Cudde Capture with the flash is the way to go. I hear of very few complaints with this model. Mine has worked well for me so far. Actually, I just bought a second one 2 weeks ago. Oh. and I'm hoping to see a few more pics of that big boy you've been after!
That sucks, sounds like some really bad customer service. You'd think if a customer has bought their products over the years, they'd want to make things right and keep the customer's loyalty. I'd do the same thing if I was in your situation and look at another company's cams.
\ I'd go a far as sending it back to them with all the slugs gun holes, 30.06 holes whatever along with a note. "Remember me, now you can fix your piece of **** and thanks ****head" Signed "Another Satisfied Cuddeback Customer".
