New to forums, but here it goes. Just got off phone with Cuddeback customer service, which was a fairly pleasant experience. They ran me through the tests, and it is officially dead. Never had issues with the two I own til now. Each has couple of thousand pics and been exposed to 6 months of exposure each year. Out of 12 month warranty but they can replace it for 50% of new units retail. Not a bad deal, same thing with a dead No Flash that had a busy past life. So 2 new cameras for $245 shipped to the house. Does any other camera manufacturer have this kind of program? Should i expect more from a camera? Thanks for the input
Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your cameras dying though. You don't mention in your post how old your cameras are so it's hard to say whether you got all you should have. I will say that my Cuddeback experience was not good. I had one for six months and got rid of it. I found that it missed way to many pics. I had a Moultrie I-40 that I had for three years until I sold it and it still worked perfectly. One question I would have is Cuddeback going to give you full warranty on the cameras they are sending you. If so, $245 for two cams isn't bad, but I would also want to know if the replacements were refurbs. Let us know how it works out for you. Blessings.....Pastorjim
