Hey guys, just wondering who else has one and what kind of battery life you are getting. Ive only been getting about two weeks out of mine before I have to replace...I can imagine it getting more expensive than i'd like.
That doesn't seem right...I had mine out all of Jan. and Feb. on the same set of batteries. Im not to impressed with the cuddeback capture IR
I have Cuddeback's NoFlash IR and I get 4-6 weeks or so on one set of batteries. Not sure about the Capture IR though.
With my capture Flash i haven't had any batteries die. I changed them once since i got it in April though just for good measure.
I have the Moutltrie IR 4.0...batterties put in on Oct 21st...still 35% battery reading this past Sunday...over 1000 pics taken...it does require 6 "D"'s but still seems like it will pay for itself in no time compared to many other brands.
Man im not sure whats going on then, I guess i'll have to talk to cuddeback and see whats up, thanks for the input guys!
I have two of them and I've had them shut down while the batteries are still at a good level. Actually I just pulled cards today and one of them was dead. I just checked the batteries and they still have almost full charge. they are all at 1.46v each. Check those batteries if you have a multi meter. I'll bet they are good. This happened once before with the other camera. I've emailed cuddeback two three times with different questions and they don't respond. I hate when companies advertise they are so great and their customer service sucks.I'll be calling them tomorrow.
Our problems sounds similar, I pulled the camera the other day and updated the firmware. I'll be checking her out in a few days to see how it worked, hopefully thats all you need to do too!
