Well today I was at the local sporting goods store and saw they had refurbished Capture IR's on sale for 120 bucks. I did not do any research on here or any where else so went out on a limb and bought one. After reading reviews on several web sites that sell the product. I am thinking to myself "WHAT HAVE I DONE?????" what do you guys think I should do return it? or keep it and see what happens?
I was warned enough times not to buy the IR. I've got 2 Capture flash cams though. Yea, maybe you can return it.
I would try to take it back as long as it has not been removed from the package the store may refund your money. Otherwise ebay is the place to sell it.......Not a bad price for such a high profile camera maker. Are people finally catching on? Is Cuddeback having problems selling their cameras?
I returned it they took it back no questions asked. They had plenty of normal flash captures left on shelf. All of the refurb IRS were pretty much gone. I used the store credit and bought the Truthcam 46
My Capture IR takes junk night pics. The Flash model had done great for me. I haven't had any technical problems with either model like many others have though.
may i ask what stores sell the rehabed cams? I like the truth cams, great 15 sec video clips and decent pics for a $100.00 cam. Mine is now taking video of my driveway for winter, I live in farm country and need a extra set of eyes on my place when i am working. There are a lot of meth heads looking at homes while people are at work around here lately.
When I read all these negatives on the Cuddeback IR, I scratch my head. I've had zero issues out of 4 of them we own.
