We should have our first shipment of Cuddeback Capture IR's in early next week and I'm looking forward to trying them out. I've been super happy with my two standard Captures so far, and I'm hoping the IR performs just as well.

My only concern is the flash range, which is only said to be 25' versus the 50'+ I get from my standard flash Capture. Its probably not the end of the world since animals are pretty small and grainy at the 50 foot range anyways, but it is nice to be able to see them that far. I guess I'll just have to be more picky about exactly where I'm putting the Capture IR to get the best photos.

I'll keep everyone posted when they show up and put some sample photos up as soon as I get them. I was hoping to have one today, but it doesn't look like the UPS man will be dropping them off until Monday or Tuesday. :(

So I just got word that all the Capture IR's that came in went out to fill backorders and we're not getting any for awhile. That sucks. :mad1:

Looks like I'll just have to pick up another camera to put out at my lease this weekend. Most likely either another Capture w/standard flash, or a Moultrie I40.
