I had issues with the Capture IR's which would use a set of batteries in the matter of week. I exchanged them for the Attack IR's, which I have had since mid to late October. Now one camera takes pictures every 10 minutes during the daytime, the other takes pictures every 10 minutes at night. What is the cause of this and is their a fix ? Based on my past issues, I am really concerned about keeping these.
I guess what I am looking for from anyone is to see if they have had similar issues or any issues at all with the Attack IR camera's
I dont have a cuddeback, but ive been looking into them and they have a setting for time lapse video and that would probly do that.Maybe check your manual on how to see if its on.
I don't own one personally, but know a few people who do and they all had issues with them similar to what you described. From what I've heard it's been a common issue with the new Attack cams, which haven't received the best reviews. The only thing I would try is updating the firmware and/or calling Cuddeback and seeing what they have to say.
In looking I agree, it appears that this issue is a common one..that is if you believe everything on the internet... Needless to say, my personal experience with their Customer Service department is one that needs some attention. My original call to them ended with a voicemail being left to only be returned 4 days later. Today I sent an email today so we will see the time in which they reply.
If you can still do so, take it/send it back. You'll just save yourself a bunch of frustration in dealing with their so-called customer service. Blessings.......Pastorjim
I bought one about 3 months ago. I have had no issues with it. First set of batteries lasted about a month. I took them out early to make sure I didn't come back a week later to a dead camera. The second set has been in for two months and still going. Last time I checked it said 63% battery life. I wish I have several more.
