So I put my cudde IR out 8-30 and it had taken 150 pics or so on these battiers. I put fresh battiers middle aug after a set drained in 2 weeks. Well today I got the card, I had pictures until Sept 7th.

I have the latest firmware, this just plain sucks. I go to their site to fill out a ticket for help. They want 75.00 dollars and 10.00 dollars to ship it back. I have to pay 80 bucks to fix their issue.

IMO they know they are having this problem, it's one of the options you can choose from the trouble ticket menu. I am calling them on Monday, if they want the 80 bucks to fixed their POS camera, screw it, I'll just buy another SC550.

I feel better, my mock scrape was just tore up also, Mother you know what

Customer service should come first. My local bowshop dropped Cudde recently for being screwed over in a different way. They sell a cudde, the customer brings it back ranting on how it doesn't work...they swap him for one that does (as any good store should), when they contact cudde to get a replacement, they were told too bad so sad, you shouldn't have swapped.

On a side note, Covert has yet to turn away ANY problem for warranty issues. I know of cases where they sent a new one knowing full well it wasn't the camera it was the operator not programming it right, but rather than argue they just swap cameras to appease the guy (who then has the same problem with the new one and finally listens on what HE is doing wrong, lol). I'd say good call on another SG550 or similar.
