Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone on here knew if CRP payments would still be going out on time because of the govt shutdown. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

For what it's worth, not sure if this clears it up though. I'm assuming the answer is yes since they are under contract to fulfill the payment.

    "Conservation
Because National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) staff is not considered essential, enrollment in conservation programs such as the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), Grassland Reserve Program (GRP), and Healthy Forests Reserve Program (HFRP) would stop. In addition, there would be no future financial assistance or technical assistance available through NRCS staff. However, USDA would continue to honor existing contracts."

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but um.... Doesn't that say CRP stops?

Enrollment stops, if you are already in the contract is honored (meaning payment) would be how I read it...
