I have a Tenpoint Titan and a SZ380. Really like the SZ380 as it shoots quieter, faster and only weighs 6 pounds.
Plus the trigger has no creep whatsoever and breaks around 3 pounds.

The Excalibur Axiom is really nice, and won't break the bank.

Love my Excalibur VixenII for women. Still a little problem, Im 5'2 and my body is still too short to cock it. Might have to invest in an automatic. I have bruises on my stomach for a week trying to cock it back.

got me a Carbon Express Xforce 400, shooting 20" CE Surges tipped with Muzzy 125 4 blades through a TRUGLO 4X32 Camo Crossbow Scope. I also put a Foliage Green Magpul Angled Foregrip on the front accessory rail for added control.

It's deadly accurate, if a bit noisy and a tad slow (advertise 320fps, but I'm guessing I'm pushing about 300,) but I love how short and maneuverable it is. It will be great in a pop-up ground blind, still hunting, or in a tree. Good value.

Any limb issues with your 380?? I have heard of some issues with the 380 limbs. Hope yours is doing well. I'm thinking serious about a 350

Try shortening the ropecocker string a little and you should have no trouble pulling it up. If your string is too long its harder for your short arms to pull the string up.

BTW you can't go wrong with an Excalibur. They are easy to use and less moving parts. You can use the rope cocker to lower your string after each hunt and not have to worry about shooting a bolt into the ground. They are easy to use and a recurve just seems to make more sense. The only slight negative I have with them is they are slightly bulky axle to axle but being a recurve that KE has to come from somewhere. My gf shoots a Phoenix and my dad a Vortex. Her Phoenix at 300 fps still shoots amazingly hard. Ill be using that bow when Dec.3 gets here next week.

hey killkenny (u bas%#!d) lol no issues at all i bought it in june 2012 all the ones available since may? should all have the updated limbs! As always buy from someone you can trust! I have shot bowtech products for many years, they are awsome and have excellent customer service. My last bow was a allegence left hand shooting 311fps @ 72LBS and only 26 1/2'' draw hated to see it go but have had rotator cuff surgery on right shoulder on hollween this year and i have surgery on left shoulder in morning. thats why i am using a crossbow this year. :tu:

I have 2: a Ten Point Titan Extreme and a Mission MXB. I have hunted with the Titan and Harvested 5 deer (including a 12pt). Very accurate but extremely big and front heavy. I used it once in a 3-D shoot...didn't take me long to figure out if I was going to shoot more in a crossbow class that I would need something lighter. So I got the Mission, much lighter and easier to walk and shoot. Haven't hunted with it yet, but it plan to this fall.
