I have a couple Excaliburs too, love the accuracy. Keep it in a Kodiak case make sure no dirt or crap gets in there and messes with it
This will be my first year hunting with a crossbow. I chose the Parker bushwacker once I found out it had all metal trigger and life time warranty. For about 300$ the only thing i was seeing bedore bushwacker for 300$ and under had plastic trigers. There may bw others out there tho. I love it light and accurate and crisp trigger Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
New xbow I just bought a wicked ridge in Aug.Already have two deer in freezer. It works great .The only down side is the noise it makes but the deer didn"t hear it till the bolt was through them.I got the Invader model.
Carbon Express Covert CX2 Red hot pinpoint scope..Its a very nice combo I have put about 150 practice shots through this combo and the crossbow is very balanced..some of the other crossbows i tried were a bit bulkier also the cx2 is very compact
Ten Point Gt Flex. Been sighting in and target shooting at the farm. this is my first crossbow and I love it.
what part of pa are you in? in the philly area there are more than plenty and you shouldnt quit, get back in to it
Re: I currently have Barnett Crossbow, but im planning to buy the Excalibur one. Looks great and professional. What do you think? camping turkey hunting
I have a Tenpoint, Turbo XLT! Very nice bow shoots like a dream and with the Accu draw built into the stock, I thought that was my selling point?? I also like the Barnett bows and they have nicer price tags, Yet!! But for quality I don't think you can beat Excaliber, TenPoint, Barnett and Horton Crossbows, Good Luck!! Jimmy
I.am new to forum and new to bow hunting, usually hunt with flint lock .bought new ten point with the acu draw, due to my health problems .that was the only option i had other than the 10 day black powder season in kentucky. Now i i can hunt all bow season, with a waiver, given to me by department of field and wildlife,in KY.being a disabled vet ,it gives me hope once again.
I currently have a Horton Tacoma Trac. About mid-range as far as crossbows go. I would really like to upgrade to a Carbon Express X-Force 850 but just can't afford it anytime soon.
Hey man, I have a more expensive bow now but I started off with an Eagle II...lightweight and fairly cheap, good one to get started on
I'm new here, but I have use a Horton Legend SL 150 for the past ten years and have had no complaints with it. I got my biggest buck last year with it.
I have a Horton Yukon SL 150# that was given to me as a gift. I call it "silent (relative) thunder", and roughly 14 deer have fallen to it. I use it for late season hunting ONLY. Desperate times call for desperate measures. lol
I've used the Horton Yukon before and it's solid and reliable as far as crossbows go. Not at all too desperate.
Well i have a middleton crossbow i have dry fired it 2 times this year and had no problems yet. Middleton has a life time warrenty on its lims. Excaleber is made 30mins from my house. I would say middleton and excaleber are the best crossbows out there. Just a tip never shoot 20inch arrows use a 22inch that way when your unloading it you cant shuv it in your foot... happy hunting
