    Great artical. I personally see nothing wrong with crossbows, but in this state you have to have a dissability permit. My dad hurt his back a while back and ended up getting the permit because bowhunting is one of his true passions.

    In Michigan kids can start bow hunting at age 10, but can't gun hunt until age 12. I'd rather have a 10 year old shooting deer with a cross bow than a compound bow. When I was 10, I was not ready to shoot a deer with a bow. I am going to start my nephew on a crossbow this summer.
