    FACT: In states with generous crossbow seasons, the success rate of crossbow hunters and vertical bow hunters are virtually the same and the deer populations continue to flourish.

    Thats right. So if all this is correct from this man, then it should be an open season for weapon of choice. Not bow season, or x-gun season, or rifle season. Management is management. It wouldn't matter if rifle hunters had the same 3 months we have.

    "virtually the same" well in Arkansas for 08/09 the percent of harvest it was archery= 7.1% and crossbow= 2.8%

    its not a weapon, a weapon is anything used to kill people. this is hunting a gun, bow, crosbow, hand gun, rifle...
