    Hi Guys,
I was just wondering what everybody likes for broadheads. ITs been about 6 years since I shot a deer with the bow and I recently switched to a crossbow. Its not a crazy expensive or super fast crossbow, but I was wondering what you guys like to shoot? I have used the rage extremes and now I upgraded to the NAP spitfires. What has been the best for you guys?

For most mid-low end crossbows the same heads you shoot from your compound work just fine. You only need to worry about specialized heads once you get into the really fast bows - say 400 fps and up. I've shot both fixed blade NAP Thunderhead Nitros and a bunch of mechanicals (Spitfires, FOC, Slingblade, etc) with no issues.

I was using a 245 fps recurve crossbow with Muzzy 4 blade fixed blade BH. Worked fine on piercing the ham of a buck a few years ago!!

i shoot rage hypodermics in both crossbow and compound. i dont know if there is really any difference between the two. either way mechanical or fixed they have to be sharp.
