    I hear ya. Excited to see what moves in though. Pretty sure my dad put out a cam back home today, banking on having a few racks show up down there. We'll see in about a week!

    I like cross country slayers as well with snort and blow being my second choice. I would love to share some photos but I don't own any trail cameras. I've been hunting a 140" ten point for the past two years and seen several others in the area in that ball park. I think I'm good for a doe though at least. I usually get a few for the freezer. Tjf that is a monster!

    Actually it is two different bucks. :) Where/what part do you hunt in California that has whitetails or do you travel to hunt ?? I thought blacktails and muleys where pretty much the only deer in your state.

    When does your season open ?? We have a fairly early one here in ND. Ours starts August 30th.

    Cross country slayers does have a nice ring to it...especially since now I associate snort and blow with getting winded.
