Hey guys, checking in. Haven't been around these parts much, been crazy busy with work and school and all that fun stuff. Sorry to check in so late. Once again I'll be hunting a totally new area this season. Still working on getting some spots to hunt, one spot I'm seeing consistent movement throughout the day on camera. Looks to be several does and one small 5pt. on the 45 acres I have permission on now, which honestly isn't half bad for Maine. Plan on doing some spot scouting this upcoming week in case nothing moves on to my current property. Haven't been to my home town in a few month but family have told me there is a good size 8 and 10 point running around our property, along with the usual spikes-6points. I'll keep you guys posted! Looks like we could have a shot this year guys, few nice bucks hanging around by the looks of it!

Yea, we can do that when we get everyone checked in and get a team name picked. Then we can start a new thread with the team name and do all the introductions and what not.

He is at least 3.5. Width, mass and brows are pretty good. He should be around the 110... maybe 115 mark. Nice buck !!

[IMG]i shot this one last year n he only scored 116 so I'm guessing this ones smaller. Contest or not I'm going for one 125 or bigger. But thanks!

Congrats on the one last year. What ever you do... shoot what makes you happy... contest or not. We are here to have fun. If we win, great. If we don't... we will have fun trying.

    ***** Team 15 Check In ********

Probably should start throwing out some names for the team.

    Came up with this one,

    Real tree huggers.

Also if anyone has some artistic talent, need to make an avatar after we get a name picked.

Realtree08, I'd have to shoot that one in VT, thats a good buck here, sadly enough. TJF thats an awsome buck, nice tines. As for a team name, "Rack Busters" or "Buck Busters", "Cross Country Slayers",

Lets keep some name ideas coming, we are only missing one person, may as well go ahead and get a captain, name, and avatar figured out.

I'm good with Wes as captain, I like Buck Busters.
From the pics so far I think we have a very good shot but they mean nothing until we put them down. When we start our new thread I will be posting my target bucks. I'm same as you realtree im going for a 125''+ but I do have a nice 8p that has some nice tines that I would find it hard to pass, I think he will score around 115. Last year I had 3-4 very nice bucks that I would shoot, I killed 1 and the others disappeared never seen them after rifle season so over where I hunt you take it when you get the chance.
