I got out tonight. Saw one deer only. Will try again tomorrow night if the temps stay in the 20's

I will be out most of the day tomorrow hunting. After tomorrow we go back in the deep freeze here. I bet the deer will really be moving tomorrow afternoon.

I passed on a mid 130 buck the other day so I am seeing some action. There is a bigger buck in that area so I will hold out a little longer. Deer are starting to herd up a little.

I'm iced in in KC and can't get back home to hunt until tomorrow evening. Everything has a half inch of icy glaze and we have 8" of snow coming on top tonight. The weather is supposed to break late morning and at that point I'll be pointing the truck south. I've got a ground blind over my food plot with some does using it and a shooter buck. I'll take a doe after this debacle of a season, and maybe the big boy will give me a shot at redemption. Good luck to those hunting

Well opted to not hunt today as temps were in the high 70's. Looks like it drops in a few days. weather has been crap so I have missed a few days in stand. Good Luck all!

Got a nice fat doe down this evening fellas. My first deer from a ground blind! I named this doe the donkey! She was old and smart and has busted me a few times this season. Well tonight I busted her with a killzone through both of her lungs. I watched her drop inside of 30 yards after the shot. Her hoof weight was right at 180 pounds and she had a 20" neck. She's my biggest doe by 12 pounds and I'm happy to put some meat in the freezer. I'll post her to the scorecard tomorrow.

Congrats on the doe Jeff !!

I took yesterday and today off. Just too flipping cold. Seeing a lot of bucks, just none I want to shoot. Will be back out tomorrow.

Congrats Jeff. I'll be heading back out Thursday. Have not set foot on my lease since early December, hoping I didn't have any trespassers during shotgun season.

Congrats on the doe! I might get out a few more times hopefully. Like I said it's been a super weird year for me not even being able to connect on a doe. I feel like I'm not contributing to the team but there's still a chance it will happen

In the stand yesterday, now and through the weekend. Last chance this year. Saw 5 smaller doe yesterday. So far only squirrels today.

Good to take coyotes out whenever we can. Had one at 30 yds in VT earlier this year but couldn't get him to stop. Shot a doe yesterday afternoon. Have one on the board already so she's just good eating. Going out for my last sit of my 2013 deer season in a few, one last chance at a buck. Gonna pull out all the stops and take my climber to a totally new spot in a thicket so I'll be tucked right against the bedding Area. We will see.

Well gentlemen, that's it for me, no buck. NJ is open until February 15 but I will probably not be back down. Wish I had another few days as a nice 8pt has been coming in about an hour after shooting time and I'm just figuring out where he's coming from. So be it, good luck to everyone who is still hunting! I'll keep track of how everyone is doing and pipe in once in a while.

Well guys, 2 sits left for me to get a buck down. I'm setting up in a ground blind these last 2 sits. The beast is still in this area regularly, he's just coming out between 8 pm and 2 am each night. Maybe he'll make a mistake tonight or tomorrow!

Good Luck. Maybe try a little doe pee to make him get curious.
