Yeah, ethically/sporting purposes I see no difference w/a crossbow. Also, would make an excellent small game weapon, especially in suburban areas (where legal.) I wonder how long it is safe to keep it pressurized? Would make an interesting home defense weapon for those who can't own a firearm.
Just like crossbow, I'd be okay if they kept it out of archery season. But it will eventually be allowed in archery and will bring A LOT more rifle hunters over. Archery season will be condensed to a few weeks like rifle is now.
This thing looks awesome. If legal in PA some day, I would think about buying it as a crossbow replacement. My dad's xbow is nice but, a pain to carry.
I think we need to call the cross bow and this new air bow by their correct name - Dart gun That being said.. technology never stops evolving. Eventually accuracy and dependability will drive usage. Either way a dart is a dart... Just takes more practice and self control to shot a vertical bow well .
