Just ran across this on facebook. An airgun that shoots arrows up to $450FPS!
It is already legal to hunt deer and hogs with it in Alabama.
    What do y'all think?

I'm sure that device or what ever you want to call it has its place.. But it's not archery.

I'd get one for my folks, I don't care how many people want to whine about it. Neither one can draw a bow and are getting to where a deer rifle beats the crap out of them and a crossbow isn't all that great or much better than this as far as I can see.

Once crossbows are all inclusive, all bets are off.

Minnesota is not going to change current crossbow usage laws.

I guess I am with the minority. I think this is cool and not really all that different fundamentally then a crossbow. String vs air driven.... Is there really that much difference?

My only concern is making poaching more convenient but those folks are going to use a rifle or whatever anyway. I think it's pretty neat too, perfect solution for my folks. I won't use it anyway, I hardly even pick up my rifle anymore.

Lol, I hear that. I bought a crossbow for my parents a few years ago and I hate even picking that stupid thing up. I think it's a Parker and it was a pretty nice crossbow as far as those go but it's heavy and cumbersome and though it has a decent crank with it, I hate it. That thing gets to be the most annoying click in the world. click click click click click...uhg.

i would buy it for my dad to use in a heartbeat but it classified as a airgun not a crossbow. He has wanted to archery hunt for years but being in a wheelchair makes it to difficult to handle a crossbow solo.
