The corn is REALLY coming down fast here in Ohio! Anybody else have unseasonably early crop harvest?

Over 50% corn harvested already in South Central KS. 85% of milo has turned and 97% soybeans podded. Harvest is going to be at least 65% by the bow opener Monday, and for sure done by pheasant season. This is going to be a great Fall in Kansas!

In this area, more than 50% of the corn has been harvested. (more like 70%) A surprising number of bean fields are harvested already too. It's a huge change from last year.

With all this crop coming down early the only thing i can think is everyone with a food plot, Acorn Flat, or food source is gonna be seeing tons of good deer well before winter.

Silage (sp?) is coming down quick. The rest is drying fast along w/ the beans although I haven't seen any of them coming down yet. I hope beans stay around for a couple more weeks. I'm hoping to get a doe down quick to earn my buck tag on a new stand over a bean field. If they come down that stand will be pointless.
