Im glad to see the new name and Avatar! Sorry im behind the curve. Work has me gone away to long at times. Its good to see were are having some luck out there. I can't wait to start our season which in a few weeks. We been having great weather for the southwest region of oklahoma. Normally its hot as hell here still. I have been seeing alot of good quality deer here lately. Which is good since its been so dry this summer again. So good hopes for the opener. Well good luck and can't wait to harvest some great vension!! :deer:

Well I found some blood and was able to track it for about 50-60 yards. I don't think I made a very good hit on him. It was almost too dark and I could barely see through my peep sight. I'm not blaming it on my equipment though. I'm the one that made the decision to take a shot. I will be investing in a larger peep sight soon though so I can't get more light.

Anyway. I'm gonna pick back up on my blood trail first thing in the morning and hopefully I'll have better news on my next report !

No clue where I hit it the hair was white and the blood was red. Didn't smell the arrow I'm thinking I must have hit him real low. I went back out this morning looking. It couldn't not find any more blood. I guess I'll have to chalk this one up as a loss.

Hope you sited back in after the switch, won'y make a huge difference on the short yardage shots but after 30 it's quite a difference till you get used to shooting bigger groups. They'll tighten up but, not a lot. I'm out in the morning for my 1st hunt too. Will change out one of my TC's too.Talk to you's when I get back in by noon.

No I haven't re sited yet. I don't really have anywhere to shoot out past 20-25 yards for deer hunting. I will however re sight before turkey season If I don't have a new one by then
