The forecast is calling for thunderstorms down there tomorrow morning. If it ends up being just rain I'll still go out but I better draw the line and lightening. But Atleast it's supposed to clear up for the evening hunt and Sunday morning.

LMAO, I can't believe it when you mentioned going to the beach for the weekend, up here I'm fighting mornings with frost! Got my parcel in the mail yesterday with my new Broadheads in it. I must say this is probably the best chance I ever took in trying a new broadhead out, their called Ramcats. Man are they crazy sharp, can't wait till tomorrow to shoot them and site in,they say there the best of the shelf broad head to site in.They aparently shoot exactly as your feild point out of the package. This is something I need to see to belive.Been shooting my Montec & Tekan's for 7 years with not a problem. Every thing I watched and read about them had me enticed to try something new. That's my new toy for this year. I'll fill you in on how they actually fly!!!!

Calling for rain most of the day today. Heading out to our lease tomorrow to hang a couple stands and pull camera cards probably for the last time until season opens at the end of the month.

Clover and Oats are coming along very well, got 3 fairly nice bucks snooping around the area. Tried to upload a few pictures from the SD card out of my trail cams, but an error "404" occurs... any tips?

    Thanks captain!

Now that I got the doe out of the way I can focus on some bone. I was hoping to get a doe early so I wouldnt disturb my buck hunting the rest of the season. So far my plan is working. It will still be a few weeks yet before I can get out here in Ohio.

Congrats on the doe! Can't wait to get out in a couple more weeks.

My brassica plots are really getting hammered right now. Should be a killer spot for opening day.

Had a nice buck show up at the apple tree. I think I have video of him from last year. Def. mature and one of the top hit-listers.

Nice buck! I hope you get him! I went out to my 80 today and found alot of nice buck sign. Ended up putting a hang on up overlooking a nice runway and a pond. Cant Wait! I also put up a trail cam. so we will see what happens.
